Sanskarians witness classical dance performance

Mohiniyattam Dancer, Dr. Neena Prasad from Tiruvananthapuram (Kerala) gave a miraculous dance performance with precise steps in Sanskar, supported by Spic Macay. The dance form delivered a message of prayer to God through classical dance performance. Prominent dancer Dr. Neena Prasad was accompanied and supported by Madhavan Nampoothiri, Uma Arun and Chandra Kumar with their instruments, striking a harmonious note. Certainly the children got connected with classical heritage of the country and were held spell bound. Manager Mukesh Mehta, Sr. Administrator Mrs. Swati Mehta and Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma were present on the occasion and honoured the artists with memento as a token of remembrance. The show was over on a happy note.

Kaun Banega Ramayan Genius: A Quiz

Having completed half yearly exam and before proceeding on Diwali break. Primary Wing of Sanskar participated in a quiz competition “Kaun Banega Ramayan Genius”. The questions asked were based on animated Ramayan movie clips. Little champs did participate to enlighten themselves on a religious epic ‘Ramayan’. Manager Mukesh Mehta distributed prizes and encouraged children for their learning skill. Sr. Administrator Mrs. Swati Mehta and Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma appreciated the children and inspired them to realize the importance of our religious heritage.

Sanskarians proceed on Excursion to Chandigarh-Manali

After academic stress – destressing is mandatory. Sanskarians from class IX to XII proceeded to Manali on 18th Oct. from school to Ajmer by bus then will further board the train from Ajmer to Chandigarh for reaching Manali. The students will visit Manali, Kullu and Chandigarh. The six day tour comprises sight scene, adventure activities and visit to historical destinations. The tour was planned to refresh the students to again focus on studies with greater vigour.

Zooming Fun Activity in Sanskar

Wednesday was marked with involvement of pre primary and primary wing of little Sanskarians in various fun activities. Children zoomed with activities like ladder drill, slate the school, fun race, run and hop, piercing the brinjal, cups and balloons, blind fold activity and lastly “Guess me, who am I”. The activity was framed and designed by Coordinator Mrs. Pramila Chhangani. These activities were performed on the green lawn (outside the class room) to stimulate the natural instinct of the children and to bring out their hidden energy and excitement. It could be witnessed that children were engaged in these activities in a natural and jovial manner which pacified their curiosity. These fun activities eased their class room stress.

Semi Finals of Inter House Football Tournament

Football, the most exciting game, students of higher classes (IX-XII) took part and the match between Nehru House and Tagore House remained undecided. In a tie break Tagore won by 3 goals to 2. Tilak house played against Tulsi house and Tulsi house was declared winner by 1-0. Another house consisting of class VI-VIII, Nehru house won against Tulsi by 1-0. Similarly the match remained tie between Tagore and Tilak house but Tagore house won by 3-1 in a penalty shootout. Coaches monitored the Inter House Tournament Competition. There was lot of encouragement, excitement from the crowd of students who were supporting their respective houses. Manager Mukesh Mehta, Sr. Administrator Mrs. Swati Mehta and Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma were on the ground to boost the morale of the houses.

Mahavir Jayanti Celebration

Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated in the heart of Sanskar International School on 16th April. The programme began with lamp lighting by chief guest and patron Honourable Dadaji Hanwant Raj Ji Mehta. The children gave various performances related to life of Bhagwan Mahavir. Quiz concerning life history of Mahavir was conducted by students. The birth of Mahavir was enacted on the stage. A marvelous speech, throwing light on the life and message of Mahavir was delivered by Honourable Dadaji, who presented Mahavir’s view point in the right perspective. Mahavir advocated unity among all religions said Dadaji and further added that all religions are true. Veteran as he is, Dadaji made a deep impact on listeners. The whole concept came from Sr. Administrator Mrs. Swati Mehta and it was translated into action successfully on occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Girish Mehta (Trustee), Jitendra Mehta, Manager Mukesh Mehta and Mehta family were present on this occasion. The programme was concluded by Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma by giving vote of thanks.

Presentation of a mission to Sanskar by French

Under the aegis of Mrs. Sanjana Sarkar, Head of Campus France, Rajasthan, a French delegation visited Sanskar International School comprising of Mrs. Maud Le Bars (representative of Rennes School of Business), Mr. Prayag Tripathi (representative of Kedge Business School), Mr. Romain Camas (head of French institute in Rajasthan) Mrs. Sanjana Sarkar (head of campus France Rajasthan). The students of class X, XI and XII attended the presentation of lecture on promotion of Business, education and skill between the two countries. The mission behind the presentation was to enlarge the vision of students and encourage them to think of global career options and opportunities awaiting their future. The presentation of event lasted for 1.5 hrs. and students immensely benefitted from it. The Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma gave a vote of thanks at the conclusion.

Little Sanskarians enjoy ‘Pool Party’

Summer vacation is approaching so, Pool Party is organised for Pre-Primary students where toddlers of Sanskar shared a delicious pool party to beat the heat of Suncity. Children played, swam and enjoyed with enthusiasm and zeal. They enjoyed different drinks to reduce the pressure of heat. They sang their favourite songs at pool side with dance and steps to forget the intensity of heat. There was tremendous joy and happiness about the coming summer vacations among the children with memory of the past and emotions for future. Sr. Administrator Swati Mehta also join & enjoyed with these toddlers.

Rhyme Competition Session in Sanskar

To test the pronunciation and recitation skill of the Toddlers, a rhyme competition session was conducted in PP Wing of Sanskar. The objective was to throw an opportunity to display how best children could pronounce words and that too with English accent. The children brought prop to make their rhyme recitation more effective. Attired in colourful dresses, children introduced themselves first and enjoyed reciting rhymes as well as listening too. The competition was assessed by the esteemed judges. Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma while encouraging the children was present from beginning till end.

Celebration of Birthday by PP Wing

Mrs. Swati Mehta a mentor, guide and a symbol of love and affection for the Tiny Sanskarians felt elevated and elated by the preparation and the manner in which she was warmly honoured by PP Wing children who celebrated the much awaited birth day of their beloved mam Mrs. Swati Mehta. Toddlers requested mam to cut the cake and gave thunderous applause. Mrs. Swati Mehta herself admitted that she was thrilled to share these happy moments with lovely toddlers. The day marks something extraordinary that happened in her life and she was intensely happy by sharing the happiness with children of Sanskar. The words can hardly capture the ecstasy.

Dussehra Celebration in Sanskar

The children of class I to V enacted a skit to mark the celebration of Dussehra under the guidance of I/C Mrs. Mamta Rathore, Ms. Usha Rathore and Mrs. Saroj Vyas. An effigy of Ravan was put on fire by Manager Sir symbolizing victory of good over evil. A poem was recited by Nishka Mehta of class IV. Milan Preet and Maanvi Punjabi spoke on the importance of Dussehra. The students of classes I to VIII along with teachers were present to see the celebration. Mrs. Asha Kothari (Trustee) gave a motivational speech at this juncture. Manager Mukesh Mehta, Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma, Mrs. Swati Mehta (Sr. Administrator) were present on this occasion.

The PP Wing of Sanskar International School fervently performed Dandiya and Garbha Dance in the school campus to mark the day with devotion and music. The little ones created lot of excitement and were seen imbibed in Bhakti of ‘Maa Durga’.

A step towards Swachhata

As many as 409 Sanskarians and teachers participated in cleanliness campaign which was launched from Mayur School. Sanskarians delivered the message through posters and by wearing different apparel to make this campaign a success. On this occasion the memories of martyrs were cherished and there was an echo of patriotism amidst the Sanskarians. The students took oath to keep their homes, society and country clean. The congregation of students and teachers from various school expressed their commitment to ‘Swacch Bharat’. The programme organised by J.K. Cement concluded with distribution of snack and singing of National anthem. Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma emphasized the need to learn ‘Swachta’ right from student life.

Educational Visit to Post Office by Pre Primary & Primary Wing

Little Sanskarians of Pre Primary & Primary Wing, accompanied by their teachers visited Nandanvan Post Office, nearest to school. Children were very much excited and curious to know how post office functions. The children had prepared a greeting card to post the same in the letter box, wishing their parents for upcoming Navratri Festival. The teachers told the children that the letter posted on the given address will reach the destination. The children came to know the various functions of post office. To help them understand, the teachers explained various activities that take place in post office. The visit concluded with lot of information about post office.

A Visit to Science Park

In order to broaden the scientific outlook of children of classes III to VI and to develop a scientific attitude, a visit to science park was planned on 4th & 5th Oct. 2018. The students observed optics, sound electromagnetism, static electricity, electronics, mirrors and optical illusion, which also attracted their attention. The students visualised infinity well, Doppler effect, planetary movements and learnt about conservation of water resources by models like water cycle and rain water harvesting. They enjoyed the music produced by sensor hoaling ball, head on the platter. Among things which they experienced were process of zinc smelting, Ayurveda, Harrappa civilization use of iron. They came to know about various geographical terms. They learnt about the importance of historical monuments and Konark wheel, also known as solar clock. The children witnessed and made to understand the district level science exhibition and wonderful demonstration of various projects. To conclude, it was a successful visit.

Educational Visit to CAZRI

ICAR – Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur State Level Fair cum Farm Innovation Meet 2018 Escorted by learned faculty Jaya Panwar the students of class XI & XII (Sci-Bio) of Sanskar International School, Jodhpur visited Cazri on 15.09.2018. The visit stimulated the curiosity of students to know what miraculous items could be made by hand and of course handicrafts items too. They witnessed several stalls of handicraft items and handmade items. There was an exhibition in which diversity in size, shape and colour of seed were exhibited like water melon, millet, acacia etc. Gum producing Arid trees species Acacia Senegal, Germ plasm collection cropwise, wheat, rice etc were also displayed. Flora and Fauna and its importance was also emphasized. Many Arid Zone animals could be seen in ZSI. Model of vermi compost units, Agro-eco tourism, value added products of Nutmeg pericrop were displayed. Different areas covered by the team included plant improvement and pest test – Dr. Ritu, Genetic Stock – Dr. Hans Raj Maila, Horticulture – Dr. Pradeep. Solar Plant (Agri Voltaire system) Dr. P. Santra and Poly Agriculture Dr. Dipesh Jangid. The scientists develop several agricultural technique and designs for better functions and efficiency. The visit was successful in so far as it opened new vistas of knowledge.

Udai Diwas with Janmasthmi

23rd August is a trio celebration day. The school celebrates foundation day coupled with the birthday of Manager sir, this year Janmasthmi celebration has been included on the same day. Since the inception of Sanskar International School in the year 2004, it is in keeping with the tradition to mark 23rd August as raising day to commemorate the day on which its foundation was laid. Since then the school has made rapid progress in all spheres, whether it is infrastructure, hostel facility and of course the strength and academic level. It will not be an exaggeration to say that management of the school has spared no efforts in bringing up the level of the school among best brand of schools in the city. To enhance the joy of the occasion the school has been decorated like a bride and there is a feeling of renewed energy to march ahead with enthusiasm. The little ones of the school enjoyed Lord Krishna’s birth as a symbol of strength and destruction f evil. Children enacted the roles to dramatize the character of Krishna in various forms like Govinda etc. and culled out the meaning for which they stand. There was a chorus song sung by the faculties collectively to mark the raising day and also to congratulate manager sir Mukesh Mehta on his birthday. Among those who addressed the gathering were honourable Vijay Raj Mehta, Mrs. Asha Kothari (Trustee), Manager Mukesh Mehta, Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma. They all congratulated the students and faculties who played a vital role in building the school. The focus was on motivation to march ahead with renewed energy. The patron honourable Hanwant Raj Mehta showered his blessings in the form of poetry. The programme ended with vote of thanks.

15 Aug. – 72 Celebration of Independence

72 Independence Day was celebrated in Sanskar International School with tremendous zeal and enthusiasm. After flag hoisting by honourable Chief Guest Sh. Rajendra Mehta and pledge ceremony by Manager Mukesh Mehta the programme commenced in a series of colourful cultural performances which gave a panoramic view of ‘JASNE AAJADI’. The powerful performances given by Sanskarians were mesmerizing and the audience was held spell bound by witnessing the patriotic emotion packed and thrilling acts of students. The hard work put in by the students and faculties was speaking volumes because the patriotic performances moved tears in the eyes of the gathering. Whether it was music or dance or some heroic acts, it was in complete harmony and struck a note of love for freedom. It could be seen that Sanskarians really expressed what Sanskar mean and the values which we uphold. Towards the conclusion of the programme Trustee Mrs. Asha Kothari motivated the children to set their goal in life and work hard to achieve their targets. Honourable Sh. Ramanand Ji also inspired the children and said that nothing could obstruct their ways if they are determined. And lastly Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma highlighted the burning issues that the country is facing and aroused the hope in future generation to eliminate evil from society and country. Management dignitaries, trustees and stalwarts were present at the function.

Inter House Science Quiz Competition

An Inter House Quiz Competition was held in Sanskar International School, Jodhpur to develop the scientific approach of the students and to enhance their vision of science. This quiz competition consisted of classes III to V and VI to VIII. The quiz was handled and monitored by Jaya Panwar, Mamta and Anupama Tomar. Vishalakshi Bissa and Kriti were quiz masters. But the entire quiz was headed by Mrs. Shikha Nigam. Quiz held in A.V. room comprised Tulsi, Nehru, Tilak and Tagore houses class III to V and class VI to VIII. The winner teams of classes III to V were Tulsi and Tagore on first position followed by Nehru on second and Tilak on third position. The winner teams of classes VI to VIII were Tulsi first, Nehru second & Tilak and Tagore were third position. The quiz was based on practical activity of food components, solar system and segregation of animal kingdom. This quiz competition gave an opportunity to students to perform practical in addition to the theory part. Manager Mukesh Mehta, Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma, Mrs. Swati Mehta (Sr. Administrator) were present to witness the quiz.

Tree Plantation Drive in Sanskar

Rainy season but no rain, however, tree plantation campaign was launched by CGST Deptt. in Sanskar International School premises by Honourable CGST Commissioner Sh. S.R. Meena, CGST Commissioner Sh. C.R. Meena (Appeals), CGST Commissioner Sh. Alok Gupta (Audit) & Joint Commissioner Sh. Manish Ji along with Assistant Commissioners Sh. Mahesh Sharma, Sh. Thomas, Sh. Mathews, Sh. Narendra Aseri, Supdt. Sh. Kamal Kant and Inspector Sh. Sanjay Saini. In keeping with the national policy, a drive to implant good number of trees was materialised for environmental change. The school is grateful to all the Govt. official of high repute to have spared their time to contribute to this national cause and to spread greenery and eliminate pollution. The school patron Sh. Green Day Celebration in Sanskar

P P Wing of Sanskar International School celebrated ‘Green Day’ with greenery all around. The children came in green attire and gave a message by enacting a skit to save trees and plant more trees for a better environment. They expressed the feeling that we are indebted to mother earth which nourishes us. It is unfortunate that children are losing the company of nature. They are getting away from nature. Nature has tremendous impact on human life. Awareness of nature’s beauty and bounty make a very positive impact on childhood. Shakespeare has aptly said “There is tongue in the trees, books in the running brooks, sermons on stones and good in everything”. Manager Mukesh Mehta presented symbol of trees to children to mark the occasion and appreciated the manner in which children brought awareness about environment. Mrs. Swati Mehta praised the children for their beautiful performances and efforts of the teacher who were part of it.

Swing inauguration in Sanskar

It was an exciting and exhilarating moment for P.P. Wing in Sanskar that new swings of adventurous quality and make were installed and inaugurated. Inauguration took place with the arrival of Honourable guest Mr. Abhishek and Shilpa and little master Adi. They were honoured with Tilak which is considered a symbol of ‘Good Luck’. Vardhman Gehlot and Kavya also figured in the ceremony. The children were thrilled to witness the new swings as it was a great fun and exaltation for them. Manager Mukesh Mehta, Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma and Swati Mehta (Sr. Administrator) were present on this occasion to share the happy moments.

Inter House Hindi Skit Competition

Inter House Hindi Skit Competition was organised in Sanskar International School, Jodhpur. Tilak, Tagore, Tulsi and Nehru House participated passionately. A drama not only entertains but also delivers message. The subjects which were related to skit pertained to reservation, social media, importance of girl child and hypocrisy of babas. Acceptance of social media by people at large has given rise to many social evils. The various social issues were highlighted through puppets, like youth suffering from reservation and society suffering at the hands of so called Sadhus. The dramatization of social issues looked more like a satire on social evils. The chief guest of the programme was Mrs. Asha Kothari (Trustee) and Mrs. Swati Mehta and Mrs. Shikha Nigam were among the jury. Principal Dr. Prabha Sharma appreciated the role of participants and elaborated the positive use of social media for the welbeing of society. Tulsi house stood first in the competition and they enacted on reservation. Tagore house dealt with the issues of girl child and stood second. Tilak house stood third and dramatized the issue of use and misuse of social media. The programme was conducted by Usha Rathore.
