We have our own farming in the Sanskar Campus where all types of seasonal vegetables are grown in fresh water. Vegetables like spinach, lady finger, cauliflower etc. are grown to meet the requirement of Mess. Children are taken to the farm to look at the natural growth of plants and vegetables. This adds to the hygienic value of Mess. Apart from this the children are taught how farming is done and how the seeds take the shape of plant.
The teacher accompanying the children to the farm house explains the importance of green vegetables and their necessity for nutritious diet. No diet is complete without green vegetables and the same is utilized in the Mess for a healthy life.
